What did you want the most as a kid. I wanted a dirt motorcycle as a kid.
A pair of brand named shoes.
A red ryder bb gun…oh wait, maybe that was somebody else. A leg lamp? no…I dont know.
NO idea if anyone is going to get that reference.
I had enough. Never had the name brand clothes but mom and dad made sure we didn’t want for much.
To be able to run like the other kids.
Not to get the belt for something stupid.
I also wanted a dirtbike. My dad finally bought me one when I was 12. There was trails across the street from my house and I went and hit a tree and broke my leg about six months later. My leg is known and shorter since.
I can’t remember anymore what i wanted as a kid, but these days i would say more peace and quiet.
I wanted a dirt bike too and at first Dad wouldn’t get me one. But there was this guy he traded things with all the time and when I was 13 he traded something for an enduro. It was a dirt bike that was also street legal so it had blinkers.
I had one back in 1986. But it off my neighbor down the street for $200. Wrote it in the trails across the street from my house for about a year than broke the foot pegs off it and sold it for $50. It had blinkers and lights and was called a Kawasaki KE 100
A Christmas Story
Am I right?
You are correct. Give that man a prize! I actually watched that for the first time last Christmas season.
Stop, that was the first time you’d ever seen it?!
Yes. I was only like 6 years old when it came out so…
I take that back. I was 10
To be happy. Still wanting this.
I wanted an emotionally stable father who didn’t drink so much alcohol. I got most of what I wanted as far as material items go. My dad broke into our apartment and took all my toys because he said I didn’t deserve them. Yeah- he was a butthead.
I wanted a dog! My dad promised me a puppy, every single year! Never happened.
But as an adult, Hubby and I got our first dog, 3 years ago. I was 27 years old, I think, when we adopted him. Would’ve liked a dog sooner, but we wanted to have a house with a backyard first, for the doggo.
As a seven year old I really wanted NFL jerseys
