Iā€™ve been to one concert - Kansas in 1979. I enjoyed it, but it didnā€™t blow me away.

The 1st Strawbs concert was a school outing. The second Strawbs concert Iā€™m ashamed to admit that my father came with me. I didnā€™t have the independent living skills to manage it on my own. When it came to that kind of thing I was young for my age. Iā€™d still have problems getting to a concert on my own nowadays.

It was definitely weird. Not my kind of thing at allā€¦ It was however something the hippy minded daughter of my fatherā€™s subordinate at the British consulate general in Zurich liked. I got roped in to going to it. I canā€™t deny that the quality of the musicianship was first class.
