lord of the rings
I read that book too.
It was so so good but it scared me.
Too scary for me to read.
Loved it and love his books but too scary.
Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment”
Lord of the Rings
Epictitus’ “The Art of Living”
And an Al-Anon daily reader called, Courage to Change
I also loved the first book in the Gunslinger Trilogy by Stephen King. It was based on a short story that he began in college, and is quite Superior to his other writing in my opinion
@Truemist8 I know, right?? wow, it was so very scary…haha
I love all Stephen King books, I’ve read them all.
I also like the books by Wally Lamb (like “I Know this Much is True”).
Also anything by John Steinbeck.
Anything autobiographical love
Except murders can’t stand violence in books/films
Les Miserables made me cry.
Flowers for Algernon left a really big impression on me.
Stephen King’s It was super long but I loved the coming of age aspect to it.
Philip K Dick’s Valis expanded my mind.
