I used to go thru severe anxiety attacks where I couldn’t breathe or swallow, it was a nightmare falling asleep, I found taking clonazepam helped.

I wonder if repeating to ourselves that there is nothing scary can help us?.. Me I have anxiety too, but also paranoia .
I have hydroxyzine, but while I’m waiting for it to work, I’ve also trained my mind to focus on something insignificant. Just trying NOT to think about something guarantees you’ll think about it. Try redirecting your attention instead.

My eyes roll to the top of my head when the voices flare up. Grounding, mindfulness, patience and valium help me the most.
I get really heavy cheated and have terrible breathing and it feels like there’s weight inside my skull and my head feels like bricks, I also sweat a lot and my voices and hallucinations get out of control.
I have DID and an alter named Thomas that is really calm and chill even during an attack so he helps me keep a steady head, but sometimes he can’t really help and I just have to wait it out and such.
Anything that can raise GABA levels will help with anxiety.
