I like pistachios more than cashews. but my first experience with them was a bag of shelled pistachios from my mum. wasn’t fun to have to peel each one. kind-of tells you how much I like cashews too…

That’s part of the fun is cracking them…plus if I get the already shelled pistachios I’ll eat them by the fist full…where as having to shell each one limits how long I’m willing to commit to cracking them…thus limiting how many I eat in one sitting…lol

I like cracking the shells sometimes too.

fun fact: when I was a kid, I tasted a squirrel nut to see why squirrels liked it so much. turned out that it tasted bad : /

lol, you didn’t have to use the plural “nuts.” I only tasted one.

now I’m thinking I was probably quite stupid because that’s very dirty. but then again, I played with ants. and besides; when you break the shell, the insides nut content is clean. probably why I didn’t get sick from eating it.

stop using the plural and making it seem bad. I only ate one. you’re acting like I ate his whole winter supply for hibernation. I’m not that cruel. : /

it’s okay. I don’t need to learn new slang. I’m still recovering from “your mother’s a hamster.” ;p

Almonds or pecans. I like pecans in desserts. Sometimes I love pistachios but I have to be in the mood for it. Pistachio ice cream is amazing though. Peanuts could’ve been my fav but they mess up my stomach.

i like almonds more than peacans. peacans taste a little… empty, in my opinion; like a weight-watcher’s snack.

I like salted pistachios, cashews, and almonds.

I like to have salted nuts with dried fruit for manual gustation adjustment.

probably sultanas because they mix well with everything. They’re like small raisins. I also like dried apricot but they can sometimes make me sick. I also love dried apples. I could easily eat a bag of dried apples in one sitting.

I’ve never tried dried mango. But I like dried pineapple!

My grandma went to back to the Philippines and brought me some back…and I have only found them once since then but its delicious…I like pineapples dried…I’ve never had dried apples though…

I found a nice fruit called goldenberry which I mix with seeds.

They sell it in my local Waitrose, yumm

Cracking = fun, as in “This party is cracking!”

It can also be used as a verb meaning to go. “Well, let’s get cracking!” = Let’s get a move on.

I had no idea this was just a NY thing.
