I was given paxil when I was a teen. It helped me a lot with my anxiety and depression. It is a strong medicine though and I heard it can be hard to get off of once you’ve been on it for a while (mind being chemically dependent on the drug). If I could switch from invega to paxil I would. It’s the lesser of two evils. I would not recommend taking both paxil and a AP at the same time though unless your docter knows what he’s doing.

she’s trying to mix the paxil and and AP. why do you say they shouldn’t usually be mixed?

They increase suicide risk when mixed, it shouldn’t be given to ppl with psychosis or depression:

My doctor tried putting me on both a antidepressant and AP and I had urinary retention where I couldn’t pee when I needed to. When I asked him what the likely hood of that happening on other anti depressants, he said it would be highly likely to happen with any others.

Paroxetine didn’t work for me. There was actually a lot of trial and error before they found the right antidepressant that worked for me. I hope that it works for you.

Paxil made me very detached from reality, as in very blunted and indifferent to everything that happened. I was put on it for anxiety at age 17 but it’s powerful junk.

I was on Paxil for a while. It actually worked just had a lot of side effects, especially ED.
