I would say that medication is the most important part of healing and that it’s very common to believe that you don’t have it, when you do.
Edit: and that if you’re treatment-resistant for years and years, talk to your doctor about Clozapine.

I still hear voices 24/7, so I would say maintaining perspective is the key to keeping your sanity.

That its a condition and not an illness. For me people were always talking about “recovery” etc, when actually its more about learning to manage your symptoms and taking each day at a time rather than something you completely move on from.
