What are some good jobs for schizophrenics?

@daydreamer I started off volunteering before receiving income from employers. Most businesses prefer to see potential employee candidates maintaining a consistenet employment history with no unemployed gaps.

Quite honestly schizophrenics are capable of doing anything provided their symptoms are mild. If they are severe there ain’t much you can do,

I can’t do physical labour due to disabilities.

Not as stressful as poverty is.

I however do not believe schizophrenics are capable of doing anything because there are limitations in what schizophrenics are statistically possible to do. For example, majority of schizophrenics live in poverty without medication whereas a minority of schizophrenics are employed working while taking medication. The symptoms of schizophrenia whether they be mild or severe do factor in a large part in determining if that person can be a part of the work force.

And an extreme minority without APs.

The meds are another factor. I could work at the Library as long as my weight stayed down. But once the meds put me over 280 pounds it was difficult to even consider. I actually suffered more psychosis as a result of keeping the weight down.

You are probably correct where I would say less than 5% of schizophrenics work without medication. Not sure how you are able to manage but congratulations on your success story.

There are trade offs when taking Anti-psychotic medications which are its benefits and costs.

Whatever works out for you to keep out of poverty. It could be all of above and you could still do well. High stress corpo structure can make some psychotic.

I think @HollyHobbie had similar experience with stress.

Or give you a heart attack. I don’t miss being in the IT department for a Fortune 500 company. I miss the pay, but that’s it.

Eh? Didn’t understand

i cant do anything physical, i cant be a driver either bc i can only do short journeys mostly, i get tired and my eyes get sore after a while,
i thought it would be cool to work a forklift or a digger, maybe even a crane but idk, train driver could be a good shout or even a station master, parking attendant,

I am sure there are lots of easy jobs out there but you got to be corpus mentis for them.
