I donā€™t take benzos, because Iā€™m a high risk for addiction. My doctor prescribed me gabapentin for panic attacks and it helps a lot! Itā€™s probably not as powerful as a benzo, but it is sufficient for me. It lasts about six hours, and I can take up to three a day.

I used to be on Buspar. I didnā€™t have nightmares on it. It helped counteract the sexual dysfunction, but didnā€™t to much to help my anxiety.

I have zero response to benzos, even when I have been given midazolam iv in hospital before an operation, I did not notice anything. I donā€™t think I have any benzo receptors in my brain. I have like a continuous panic attack if I am not on antipsychotics.

I donā€™t respond to any benzos except clonazepam. Like taking candy most of the time.
