I’d like to get my brother’s wife something for Christmas. Any suggestions?
What are her interests. I usually keep an ear open throughout the year so when it comes times to buy someone a gift I can surprise them with something they mentioned off the cuff several months ago but were not expecting.
a full day at the spa is usually nice
What’s your budget?
Is she a girly homely sort? What is she like?
Her interests are work and family really. But I think she like movies too. So maybe I could buy her a dvd.
Does she have Netflix? Maybe a month/year membership depending on how much you want to spend.
Budget would be about the equivalent of $100. I haven’t bought her anything decent for ages so I’d like to splash out this Christmas.
Edit: yes, she’s a homely sort.
I was thinking candles, but your budget would stretch to something more permanent. I’m going to suggest some speciality lighting decor, something elegant and flowery, or sparkly, or both.
If the budget is around 100, a massage/spa gift card might be perfect.
A man. Failing that a woman.
I often get my mom decorative solar lights for the backyard if that helps. I’m not that great with picking out gifts.
Edit: She is older than 40’s though.
I love the massage/spa idea that @Ninjastar and @Cragger have suggested.
I’m in my 40s, and it’s definitely something I would want.
The massage is a great idea. People that work a lot really need them on occasion.
I think that’s very personal. I’m close to forty and I wish I could have a warm soft blanket. Winter is setting in. Maybe some gloves, too.
Your post inspired me to buy a new comforter. It sounded nice for the winter.
Fingernail manicure at Walmart if you’re cheap or a vacation away from your if she has small kids maybe a babysitter coupon
A gift card from amazon so she can choose what she likes.
If she likes to cook, you can buy her a really good cookbook with various recipes @everhopeful
