Anyone else get benefits from US social services like SNAP and bill help, and medicaid?
Well today is the date our SNAP reloads. We planned on grocery shopping, but when my husband called the information number, nothong had been deposited. So he then called tge offoce to fond out if the ebt system was down,because it had been last week.
They said our case was CLOSED.
Not just SNAP, but everything. As of 8/31, whoch was odd because my employment worker called me yesterday.
I freaked out and we made calls to state agency and also to the worker’s boss. The director asked for our onfo and saod she would research.
She called a bit later (to my hisband) and our worker called me directly at the same time. They both apologized and said that they had somehpw forgotten to send us recertification paperwork. So our case had been closed with no warning!
So to fix it the put throughan emergency continuance and also contacted tge state to get emergency reinstatement for my diabetic son’s medicaid. They called us several times to let us know progress.
On top of that fiasco, my teeth began killing me more than usual. It’s been bad for a while, but today the pain has been stabbing in my jaw, probably an abscess. It started on our wayto do some essentials shopping. So I was 30 min from home for a couple hours with half my head and my ear hurting from the throbbing and stabbing.
Finally got home and hydrocodone didn’t kill thepain,just made it back offspme,but i have antibiotics.
Anyway, I at least got a haircut.
So if I am extra grumpy, bear with me. My head be killing me.
