Went to get a new CPAP mask that won't leave marks on my face

I went to look at a few different options for sleep apnea face masks today and tried one on I really like it’s a hybrid full face mask fits under my nose and covers my mouth and the hose is on a swivel on top of my head instead of under my chin. Its comfortable and was told it will hardly leave any marks or not as many. So, we shall see I had to have it ordered they didn’t have it in stock for me to bring home so once ordered it will ship to my house in 3 to 5 business days, so I am excited to try a new mask that possibly won’t leave any marks at all or even if it’s just a few marks it’s well worth trying anyway. Right now, I started using Cerave Moisturizing am Lotion with spf 30 sunscreen in it right after I take my mask off in the morning and it helps some with redness and reduces marks somewhat but still their there.

Maybe it was leaving marks because the straps were too tight? You cold loosen them.

If I loosen the straps on the mask, I tried that before it has air leaks, so I have to wear it rather tight unfortunately.

Yeah, you have to find the perfect balance between being loose and not leaking air. The thing that scared me is that the mask instructions say if you wear it to tight it can alter the structure of your face. I wore mine with the straps too tight once and in the morning my teeth were aching which scared me.
