Just for an initial assessment, but this time seems better so far; I only had to wait two weeks instead of months, and the assessment person actually seemed to know the terminology and asked appropriate questions and didn’t dwell as long on how dangerous I was. I’m hopeful they might get me some therapy this time.
Anyone else in CMHT in the UK and what’s your experiences been like?
Im under the adult cmht, my experiences are pretty calm. Dont really have issues with them but there are long wait times for things like therapy so i dont do it.
I havr a care coordinator who essentially is my point of call for anything mental health related. Hes a decent nurse who speaks the right stuff
