I can’t touch my savings if at all possible. Really depending on a cheque coming in tomorrow. If it doesn’t I’ll likely have to take some from savings. Expensive months suck. Such is life I suppose.

I try my best not to borrow. It’s a slippery slope. I know any of my family can help. I’m hoping if I have to take from savings that next month I can return it.
I lived paycheck to paycheck for too long. Whenever I was broke I would just remember that money is just a control mechanism and that it is better to be above worrying about something that is unable to be changed.
Make the best out of what you have to work with and you will have money again soon enough.

Good on you for actually having savings though! Im sure the cheque will come on time. I dont get junes benefits until the 28, and im down to $25 cash lol. I definitely need to make a strict budget this time.

My big problem with it is I have 2 kids at home who depend on me. But we have lots of food and entertainment so we will be ok.
Unfortunately my savings is to fix my teeth. Nothing fun. Dang it 
I have been through it with kids too, it sucks but it only sucks as much as you let it. Try to make the best of your situation and try to keep the bad feelings from transferring to the kids.
My kids always give me a reason to be in a better mood.

Yeah I love my kiddos so much! I don’t worry them about money. They also rarely ask for any.

That’s good, mine are too young for the most part to need money but my daughter is wanting to do things more and more that requires money.
At least you have the 8 dollars though, it is a much better feeling than being overdraft and knowing you are just throwing money away to the bank.

I just dug through my purse and found $30. I owe my son $20 but he won’t care to wait til next week. I love money that is lost and found. Feels like free money.

Finding money is awesome. I got in the habit of hiding some around the house when I got paid. It helped out having the stashed cash when your account got low. I did my best to try to forget at least partially that I had the cash so I wouldn’t be tempted to spend it but when money was short I would be like a squirrel and try to find stuff in my hiding places.
Even now I have cash in my car that I keep for when my money gets low.

Well I know now why I ran out of money.
I paid my cable/internet bill way earlier than it was due. Oh well. At least when my cheque comes I’ll be able to get some stuff and hoard a little.
