We went to a restaurant and I paid but then

I insisted to pay… not because of all this equality reasons… but because it makes me feel good … Then I went back and said we not going to restaurants like that again because it’s not healthy choice of food and it is expensive food. I didn’t realise how expensive till we paid. £40 for us two :scream:

So then he felt guilty and he said we should split the bill. I felt bad I couldn’t afford the full meal …

I work part time though so I need to start budgeting more.

Let him pay. He earns more and your a partnership anyways. It’s nice to eat out and eat expensive food if it’s good. Bummer if it’s overrated or not up to expectations.

As an aside. How was the food? That is like over $40 a head for over here. Not unheard of but you’d expect some serious dining!

They were really good burgers but burgers shouldn’t be that price :scream:

Gawd for a burger. haha. I’d hope they were good.

We did a meal in New Orleans where we tipped like well over $100. For reference that is like a 7% sales tax so we doubled that! Still. Gawd. Best meal I ever had in my life. It was a Tuna steak with mashed potato and asparagus. It was devine with all the drinks as well!

Won’t do that again but sometimes you’ve got to live!

I’m going to pizza hut tonight. 1 large pizza, 4 pieces of garlic bread, 1 1.5 Liter soda and a medium large dessert. For three people it comes out as around 6.5 € each
