We can't mention witches?

I just thought this was interesting about the witches of Salem in the 1600’s. I’ve read the theory a couple times that the so-called witches were acting strange because the supply of grain went bad and moldy and when they made bread out of it, the result was that it was a form of LSD or very similar. The women ate the bread and started acting weird so they called them witches and burned and stoned them to death. It’s a legitimate theory.

It’s awful what they did to those women, all in the name of religion

It’s very hard to have a conversation on this topic because of misconception, religions, and superstitions. I wish we could. It’s an interesting topic, but I’ll have to close.
