I’m scared of metoprolol a little. I can feel the difference between not taking metoprolol and taking it. Is this a lifetime med? Idk I’ve only been on it for a month or so.

If you are then maybe you should talk with your doctor about it.
You should not be skipping doses of metoprolol.
Like I said before it can cause tachycardia or even a heart attack if you skip or suddenly stop taking it.

No I haven’t been skipping taking them. I take them like I’m supposed to.

Metoprolol is a relatively safe drug as long as you don’t suddenly stop taking it.
May I ask you why you are taking this med?
Is it for high blood pressure or for a fast heart beat?
I take metoprolol because I have both high blood pressure and a naturally fast heart rate.

I take it for rapid heartbeat. My bp has been quite low. Yeah I’ll call my caseworker sometme Monday. Ok I hope so.

Any side effects? Clozapine didn’t like me so I went into the oldie perphenazine now
