I had $150 to my name!! Well now I have $100. They tried to make more purchases but they didn’t go through due to lack of funds. Well they ordered a PlayStation membership :rolleyes:
Well I’ll be getting the money back eBay said. But unfortunately this stuff has to happen.
Someone got into my eBay account once, they did not steal any money, but listed a item for sale, the purchaser payed by PayPal so it was easy to refund them.
I had to start a new eBay account.
I got a email thanking me for my purchase, but I can’t see any purchase charges so far. It’s a work place safety equipment site I bought off of once
You just got the email? And you didn’t make any purchases? Because that’s what happened to me today.
I woke up and I got a notification confirmation that I had purchased a PlayStation membership. I also saw my shopping cart was filled with stuff. So I emailed seller. He said call eBay I did and they’re fixing the problem I just have to follow up with my bank or something later.
Yeah guess I should call them and find out whats going on, don’t think they have a valid credit card though, charge would not go through
I’m so sorry that happened! Thank God you didn’t have the funds in there for more.
I’m not sure if I have to do anything. The transaction shows up on my bank statement but when I go to report it it doesn’t show up. Maybe hadn’t updated.
I think I did click a phishing link that’s how I got hacked.
