And won’t tell me why. i am just not allowed to use ebay anymore. So annoyed. But I can take my business elsewhere then.

Were you returning a lot of purchases? That’s the usual culprit.

Nope, I have not. I never return anything from eBay.

I haven’t even left negative feedback… pretty much sucks but I know not to use them again.

That’s really odd. Not that eBay is wonderful these days. Anything you order takes three months to arrive.

They should provide you a reason why, that doesn’t make any sense.

Probably a scam.

How did “eBay” contact you? Email? Text? Did you click on it? Don’t provide any personal information.

Call eBay directly–make sure you have the right number.

I contacted them directly through their own message system. It’s not a scam. I contacted them again today through live chat, they said it’s suspended.

The system detected I’m a risk on their platform thats the reason they gave.

Do you have identity theft protection like Norton/Lifelock?

I don’t but mostly use my mobile for Ebay. I logged into the computer for live chat through ebay though. Also next to my username on ebay it says “No longer a registered user”. So I cannot list anything or buy anything.

I would call them and find out why your account was suspended and how to restore it.

I would provide their number, but it’s best that you look up their number.

I recently had my alternate fb account hacked and suspended. I found out that a user logged in my account from Sweden and posted inappropriate posts using my account. Fb sent me an email that my account was permanently closed unless I want to contest. I didn’t bother as I made this account when I was psychotic and don’t need it anymore.

It is definately not a scam @Vertigo. If you look at the screenshot above, they’ve lifted all my ability to sell and buy. I can’t do either. I have tried.

You have the right to know what happened
Contact them if you can and find out the reason of your suspension

I had the same problem with eBay. I spent so much money on there, and think I only left positive feedback as far as I can recall. One day I log in and see an error of some type that led me to phone customer support. They put me on hold then came back and said they couldn’t elaborate. I read on some searches that it’s commonplace for ebay to just ban or suspend people without notice or warning.

I got mine suspended once for not paying them an outstanding debt of like 60 bucks. It was fees associated with selling on their platform. Once I paid them, they immediately reinstated my account.

Definitely keep calling customer service, something’s not right, you shouldn’t be suspended.

I should note however that I used my mom’s account to buy stuff for awhile while mine was suspended, they figured that out somehow and suspended her too :open_mouth: but both were reinstated once I paid my debt.
