Want to garner your thoughts regarding smoking CBD hemp in my garden

CBD hemp is 100% legal in my country. I bought some cbd hemp a few months ago which I vaporised. It really helped my anxiety.

Thing is apparently smoking it is a lot more effective then dry herb vaping. I like to smoke and could happily smoke the herb.

Thing is it smells EXACTLY like weed. I mean identical. I live in close proximity to my neighbours and don’t want to upset them (thinking I am bracingly smoking weed which is 100% illegal here)

I am on real good terms with my neighbours. I am thinking of asking them permission to smoke the legal hemp. I think forewarning them about the smell might make them not feel uncomfortable.

What do you folks think?

I would ask how they feel about it. Some people are bothered by smoke because of asthma or something, and they could let you kniw if that is the case.

My neighbors are huge potheads and were nice enough to ask us if we mind the smell ahead of time.

Good idea, @anon94176359. I think it is courteous of you to ask them if they mind the smell. Hopefully they understand, and you can smoke the flower in peace, without worrying about bothering them.

I don’t trust Any of that, too likely to have symptoms. Phil says I won’t but I don’t even try it.

yeah it would be good to let them know it’s not weed but hemp. im also interested in trying to smoke hemp, but last i heard it was made illegal here, because they said it would be harder to police marijuana. im not sure what the judge decided. i also want to smoke dried catnip, which i also heard smells like weed when burnt, but is def. legal. if they object, i wouldn’t press the issue, do you not want to smoke inside? i guess the smell would still find it’s way out.

I might ask them their opinion on it, yes. Not their permission though. Since it gives off a strong odour, that alone might bother them. Could you grow it inside the house? Hydroponically

No I reckon cops would just assume I am growing weed.

I will speak to my neighbours and see how things are. Smoking cbd would be a nice add on to my lifestyle but it is not a deal breaker

It’s 2021 and weed is so popular I honestly don’t think it’s a big deal. Plus your legally smoking it . Just do it

I reckon if they were really bothered by it they would say to you but if not then that’s cool, if someone said anything just tell them its legal, if your neighbours complain then i’d stop or do it elsewhere.

you could ask them if its ok first but how are they going to know what the smoke smells like if they haven’t smelt it yet?

I have been smoking tobacco pipe in my apartment for 17 years without any neighbore complaints. I smoked the tobacco original choice. Some people said it had a very sweet and wonderful aroma. Others said that it stank. The money I saved by smoking pipe instead of cigarettes I put in my 1K

face to face might be taken as confrontational, maybe you can write a note and leave it at their door.
or you can consume cbd another way. edibles, capsules, sublingually. I also prefer to smoke cbd but two, three sessions everyday is a bit excessive for neighbors.

smoking outdoors has basically no smell to it. winds will blow it away

maybe its different with cannabis as it smells more at the time its being smoked. do u still smell it when no one is smoking for a while. when i smoke cigars outside i cant smell them when i go out at a later time
