Come on guys i need your help here.
I read you can drink coffee, exercise, eat when you Wake up.
But how to get up when alarm rings ? Put it in the bathroom ?
The oldest trick in the book. Put your alarm clock across your room so when it goes off you have to get out of bed to turn it off. Once you’re up----stay up.
If you need a little motivation to stay up then maybe have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate first thing every morning. Once you get into a routine it should get a little easier.
It might also help to get up around the same time every morning. It’s another routine that will get your body in a good cycle so that maybe your body will get acclimated and get used to getting up and make it easier.
And while you’re at it, if you research sleep hygeine, it’s recommended to go to bed every night at the same time. This includes weekends.
But if im used to sleep 12 hours, lets say i fall asleep 06.00 if i have alarm 12.00 that means i slept 6 hours - so im really tired,
i hear the alarm, either i continue sleeping or get up - its like A lotto.
Sorry, I think I know what you’re saying but I’m not sure. If you sleep 12 hours every night and you go to bed at 6:00 pm (??) why can’t you just set the alarm for 6:00 am?
Those don’t seem like good hours to live by. But I really can’t talk because my hours aren’t great either. If I go to bed at 11:00 pm or 12:00 am and I wake up at 3:00 am or 5:00 am to go to the bathroom or something, I’m liable to just stay up for a few hours. Probably not a good idea.
I dont know the pm am thing. By 6.00 i mean in the morning. I cant sleep till 6 on the evening.
Im trying to fight my insomnia this way.
I wouldn’t get up until you’re no longer tired.
