So! The officers that were cruising around my neighborhood noticed the red car from Friday was nowhere in the area. Since he had said he was “staying” at across from my house. 
Anyway, they knock Saturday around 9:00 am and the owners of the house don’t know the guy!!! 
So we think he was just trying to rob us and since I’m the only here during the day, he probably thought ill just tell the cops I’m trying to meet my neighbors. Still, creepy!!!

Glad your safe and hope the cops scared him off. Sounds like an opportunist but still pays to keep you and yours safe and keep extra vigilant.
