My dad has been admitted to the hospital. He has 40 to 50 lbs of fluid in his body that they are going to get rid of over the next few days. He has congestive heart failure but they think he should be okay. In a few days we will see how it goes.

I’m okay. Been a bit of a stressful time for several reasons but I’m alive and kicking.

The fluid is coming off slower than they want but they are still positive. My dad will be sent to Winnipeg by ambulance to get a heart test. His heart is slightly enlarged so more testing is required than they can do here. We are waiting to find out when that can happen. Hopefully today or tomorrow. But he’s in good spirits and not feeling sick so that’s good. He called my mom and she said he sounded okay so that did a lot to help her cope. My sisters are with her and my one sister is staying there for nights this weekend. I’m thankful for them.

Yesterday afternoon my dad lost 25 lbs of fluid!!! Another 25 to go but he’s feeling good. Will still be in the hospital another few days but things are improving!!
