Unsolved mysteries in your life

My big, fat dog once got on he roof of our house.

We have no idea how or why.

Just came home one day and there he was.

We were freaking out trying to figure out how to get up there ourselves without exciting him enough to jump off the roof.

Finally, we got him down.

With the help of many neighbors, a harness, and a rope.

We have theories as to how he got up there, but none of them really checked out when we put them to the test.

A forever unsolved mystery.

What odd thing has happened to you that you can’t explain?

I have lost several things in a couple of moves. I remember I lost a couple of pictures that were very dear to me in my apartment in NYC. I was devastated. They were just – gone. I thought maybe they’d gotten under my armoire, which was too heavy to move, but when everything got packed up to move – nothing.

That happened in my last move, too. I lost something under the couch. I needed it, but ignored it. But when the couch was moved to move to my new house, it just wasn’t there.

I don’t know what kind of void these things slipped into.

I know cat toys disappear into voids.

That’s so crazy! One time I came hoe to find all the pictures of one of my sisters all turned face down. My mom was with me and she was convinced it was a ghost. I doubt that, but it was weird

Very weird!

@Pandy, I can’t even begin with the things I’ve lost that just seemingly fell into the abyss.

Some treasured family heirlooms.

Strange how that happens.

When Hubby and I got married, the 2 cats (Fable and Orestes) were his. While we were moving everything out of Hubby’s apartment, Fable went missing.

There weren’t many pieces of furniture left, that he could hide under. We looked under everything, behind everything, every single spot. But he was nowhere to be found.

I started to panic. I walked around the neighborhood, calling for Fable. Nothing.

Once all of the furniture was loaded into the truck, we walked back into the apartment to make sure we got everything… And there was Fable, sitting in the middle of the room…

Where the heck did he hide??? The world may never know.

Good one!

Cats are sneaky and sometimes jerks.

Omg Spike did this to me once!! Could not find him ANYWHERE. I just gave up looking and curled up in the middle of the living room, crying. Trying to accept that my cat was gone. Then he just walked up to me casually, like no big deal. I have no idea where he was, either!

Lol, cats are funny creatures. I’m glad you found him… or, well, I guess he found you.

■■■■■■■■ deserted me and my mother when I was 3

I have grandparents, 12 aunties and uncles and untold number of cousins… Apparently I also have a half brother - never met him

Mysterious

Bet those ass holes gave me Schizophrenia with their ■■■■■■ up genes

I’m sorry about your father.

And how his family has ignored you.

You don’t deserve that.

I know it’s kind of a thing to say,

But it’s true,

You’re probably better off without them.

How did you almost die, @san_pedro?

I think so too.

They blamed my mother for kicking his ass out

He cheated on her, was an alcoholic and had his own mechanics business then blew his customers parts money on beer

Unfortunately that’s all the information I have

I asked my auntie where his grave was, and she said it has been longer than 25 years, so there will be another box on top of him

Shouldn’t think he or anyone else would care.

Selfish thing to do.

My step dad was as good as he possibly could have been, and he took me on like a son.

Don’t think it’s the same though as your own father - but I am not complaining (Too much)

Sounds like your dad didn’t have a lot to offer you, considering how he treated your mother.

But it’s still sad you don’t even have a grave to visit.

It’s horrible his family has taken that stance.

I’m happy you had a good step father, but agree at least knowing more about your biological father would have been nice.

That’s a sad situation, @Joker, I’m sorry for it.

Hey man don’t worry. I was 3 and still don’t exactly know what I have missed out on

Every time I do laundry a sock comes up missing. And I think the hangers in my closets are breeding.

Last year a coin fell on me in bed. I have no shelves or anything near my bed it could have fallen from because my bed takes up the entire end of my room. It fell from high, like it just fell from the ceiling.
