Nah, since I’m eating healthy I feel much better.

Yeah, there’re some ā€œhealthyā€ foods that I don’t like. I might be able to get the nutrition from these foods but they certainly won’t make me happy. In that case I’d rather choose junk food I like to make myself feel good which might be better for health.

It’s hard to have a cheerful mood when you gain a ton of weight and face the prospect of using insulin.

Yes, I think so. It’s a game one plays with oneself. Setting norms and boundaries for oneself and then occassionally transgressing them for pleasure. Moderation is key in this game, I agree. One doesn’t ā€˜treat’ oneself with what is normal.

I am binge eating sweets. Is that okay? I feel okay. Maybe I die in 40ties. But that’s okay, since the brightest stars shine for the shortest time :sunglasses:

No but really. I heard that when binge eating, brain releases opioids that make you feel better… Yup c:

I think that having a strict diet just sets you up for failure and bad feelings. Yes it is nice to sometimes just relax and eat what you want as long as you dont let it take control. Personally since i like feeling full and happy i usually allow myself to eat as much healthy or somewhat healthy food as i want. By not having too many restrictions i allow myself to stay on track which in turn helps keep me relaxed. Food eating is like a balancing act.
