Sometimes, eat what you like might be better for overall well-being than to eat what is healthy.
This is the undiscovered science. Studies find healthy diet is important to your well-being-- What if this food makes the person in bad mood? Do you not think eat what he or she likes, moderately, can have better impact on his or her overall well-being.
There is a saying: A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Yeah, thereāre some āhealthyā foods that I donāt like. I might be able to get the nutrition from these foods but they certainly wonāt make me happy. In that case Iād rather choose junk food I like to make myself feel good which might be better for health.
Yes, I think so. Itās a game one plays with oneself. Setting norms and boundaries for oneself and then occassionally transgressing them for pleasure. Moderation is key in this game, I agree. One doesnāt ātreatā oneself with what is normal.
I think that having a strict diet just sets you up for failure and bad feelings. Yes it is nice to sometimes just relax and eat what you want as long as you dont let it take control. Personally since i like feeling full and happy i usually allow myself to eat as much healthy or somewhat healthy food as i want. By not having too many restrictions i allow myself to stay on track which in turn helps keep me relaxed. Food eating is like a balancing act.
