My Mom just called me. Her brother. My uncle has cancer all over. They are going to remove half of his intestines on Halloween and then he will have chemo. He even has tumors in his brain.
Back in 2007, my sister was diagnosed with two types of terminal cancer. She received surgery, chemo and radiation. She is still alive and cancer free today in October 2019. Today is a new day in modern cancer treatment.
It’s just so hard thinking about somebody having cancer that I try to pretend nothing is wrong… like my 20 year old cousin. His life was so happy and he was enjoying his childhood when cancer hit. It is not the kind of thing families deserve to go through. I am sensitive to negativity these days and prefer to listen to people who are living comfortable lives with relatively simple problems such as finances and relationships.
I’m so sorry. My cousin is going through something similar. If your uncle can get in at the Cleaveland Clinic, they have been a great help to my cousin. He was given a week to live two years ago, and is still going strong.
