Do you get free travel where you are outside London , free travel into London?

I get free travel on buses all over England with my disabled bus pass.

I used to have a bus pass until the doctor who helped me get it moved. The consultant refused to do so,because he hadn’t seen me for several years. It was used to go and see my mother and to go to an allotment near Southend hospital. Both routes I felt safe using because I knew where to get on and off the bus.Now I qualify for one as a pensioner, but I’m not physically capable of making use of one.

I only have bus pass, I can get a disability rail card which gives 1/3rd off. But I haven’t got one yet because I don’t need it

I have a disabled rail card with a 1/3 off travel. Cost me £30 for 3 years and comes in handy when I travel long distances on train like from my hometown to Edinburgh, I have a friend in Sterling, Scotland and visit him a couple times a year and the card does knock a huge chunk off both journeys there and back.

I catch the national express from Nottingham to Heathrow airport in London and bus passes don’t work for that service but the ticket is only £70 return so thats not too bad.

Yes I have this card too. But my oyster is both for bus and train. If I move out of London all I’ll have is a bus pass im guessing.

I had a free bus pass but they took it away when I passed my driving test. You have to apply to the council to get one.
