We didn’t take her @Loke . We gave her meds and cold compresses and got the fever down.
Then we tested her for Covid and it was positive.

That’s not good at all I feel bad for her I really do 40C temperature even outside is bad your doing the right thing by taking her to the hospital
Idk if this helps but covid is not as dangerous as it used to be

Her fever is much lower now @AwesomeFisherman . We’re taking care of her at home. We called the dr to let her know and see if she can get Paxlovid. Just waiting to hear.

COVID is awful. I hope she gets well fast and if you get it, it doesn’t impact you horribly. I would start ingesting elderberry and immuneboosters right away.

I dosed up on vitamin C, but you’re right, I should get some other stuff. Didn’t know that about elderberry. Thanks @sweetpotatopie

D3 TOO. when i had it my doctor told me to take 10,000 iu a day of d3. it really helps to be taking d3 regularly these days but it cant hurt to take it while sick too.

Thank god that fever sounds like it would be hell I don’t even wanna think about how that would feel I’m so glad her body cooled down I’m trying to not imagine what that would feel like I hope you get that med

Is she vaccinated because the vaccine saved many lives and will continue to save lives

My husband and I are firm believers in getting vaccines. However, her biological mom doesn’t believe in them, and she’s 18 years old so we can’t force her and her mom discourages them. So she’s not vaccinated. Perhaps after this experience she’ll get the vaccine from now on. She feels awful @fish_the_archer

How’s she doing now I’m a bit worried for her I’m just checking up on her Covid sucks I always check up on people I know who are having medical issues lol I hope and pray she’s doing better

Sorry if I’m being annoying I get on peoples nerves sometimes with my constant making sure there ok if she was vaccinated I wouldn’t worry as much

She’s doing pretty good. No fever today. She’s congested but not severely. She is tired, but getting plenty of rest and has been eating some and drinking plenty of fluids. Thanks.
