Not in the psych ward. The regular hospital.
OH! Important detail I missed there lol! @sweetpotatofries
Whenever I’m around people, and a foul smell arises I say 'Oh. That’s just my Dollar Store cologne.
It usually garners a few laughs.
Obsession for men is lovely.
I had obsession for women but I ran out of it and since it’s not cruelty free I won’t buy it again.
I don’t use perfume.
I can’t afford it or prioritise spending my money on other things.
I have worn ;
One
Obsession
Light blue
And a few others but I only wore them on special occasions.
Since they test on animals I won’t buy them again.
If I buy a perfume it will probably be a vegan perfume.
The last time I was in the cardiac ward I had a roomie who bathed in cheap perfume and her family who visited did the same. They eventually moved me to a single room.
I never have a roommate otherwise I wouldn’t spray it.
It’s almost impossible to get a private room here, even if you can pay for it. They’re almost always taken up by people who need isolation. In my case because some scents make me turn blotchy and start wheezing.
The hospital I go to is just single person rooms. Unless you are on the observation floor, then you share, but when I’m admitted I’m never put there. I’m also immune compromised so I get isolated anyway. I guess it’s the only plus to being really sick constantly in my hospital.
Ours are mostly 4 person rooms in urban centres with some 2 person rooms and a small number of individual rooms. Rural hospitals tend towards 2 person rooms. The shared rooms and washrooms turned out to be a nightmare at the height of the pandemic. I believe they’re looking at single rooms for new hospital construction now.
I’m glad they are going to single rooms. I think privacy is important when you are sick.
I’d be prone to buy her perfume just as consolation to all the bs she had to go through with her dad.
My aunt can’t deal with fragrances. Allergies or something. She literally can get sick physically if she comes into contact with heavy fragrances
I’m gonna adopt the male version of vabbing!
I’m sure if I smear my essence all over myself before a date the ladies will find it irresistible
This is just so weird lol!
I have
Aqua di Gioia for women
Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue (also lotion)
Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge
Lancome La Vie est Belle (also purse spray, lotion, and hair spritzer)
Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil or something like that- I don’t do French (also lotion)
Clinique Happy
A couple of scents by Sol de Janeiro (with matching lotion for each)
Ocean Dreams (discontinued; I wore it to my wedding and use sparingly)
There are a few Viktor & Rolf I’d like to get.
I wear You by Glossier. It was $60 for a bottle, the most I’ve ever spent on a perfume. Normally I buy knock offs or cheap body spray from Dollar General. But this smelled so good I bought a bottle with taxes in 2020. I don’t use it daily so it still has a lot in the bottle.
I once bought Angel by Muegller on someone’s recommendation. Blech!!! It smelled like my mom (who I promptly sent it to). I have to use powder for reasons, and I’m using Estee Lauder Youth Dew. It was their most cost-effective box ($40 for twice as many ounces as their Pleasures powder), but I hate the smell. I don’t like Pleasures either, though. That’s another one that Mom got. Right now, in addition to Light Blue, I have Light Blue Intense. I admittedly can’t tell enough of a difference to make having both worth my while, so I plan to send Intense to my sister. It’s not a mom smell, ya know?
I do always make a point of getting the biggest bottle available (usually 3.4 oz) because of cost efficiency unless there is a sale on a specific size.
Oh! I also have one of the Caroline Herrera Good Girl ones in a high heel, but I have no idea which variety it is (blue heel, clear at toe). It came with sparkly dusting powder.
I find that perfume and clones usually Mass the true identity of yourself if you truly want to attract mate go without cologne and sweat a little bit fact of nature however I find that the type that I wear I can’t stand but covers up a lot of odors it’s called axes
Oh!!! I REALLY want to buy Tom Ford F*ing Fabulous and Leather Ombre for hubby. But they are high priced for small bottles. Right now, he has Light Blue for men (sweet smelling) and whichever one I bought for him that comes in a trophy. I’d purchased him Dior’s Sauvage but didn’t like it. My favorite male cologne to date was a blue-colored Dior por Homme, but they discontinued it. No matter how hard I look, I can’t find it!
