Perfume is kinda taboo today, isn't it?

me and college friends used to really be into it,
long time ago.
I’d go into a department stores and ask for free samples,
saying I’d be back to buy,
but I never did. ha.
they were easy to carry in your pocket.

well, just like the work place and close spaces you go to.
I may or may not have smelled some in the theaters/plays/musicals,
but not too often these days.
Phil still wears it.
I prefer his body wash though.

As someone with an allergy to many perfume products, I’m glad it’s becoming less accepted.

With most other sensory irritants, you can do something to lessen it.
Smell really can’t be dampened unless I stick a clothespin on my nose.

When so many people have perfume allergies, I find it unnecessary for people who go to crowded spaces to wear perfume.
And kinda selfish, to be honest.

We send smokers off to designated outside areas, so why should perfume be allowed

yeah. agreed.
when we wear it,
we’re typically not even trying to be sexual,
which is kinda the point, isn’t it? idk.

I rarely wear it, but when I do my husband likes it. So today I’ll wear it because it’s his birthday

I very rarely wear cologne. maybe once a year. I have no idea if it is taboo or not though as I am not really up on current trends in this area. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think it’s taboo. I wear it all the time. I find some scents really calming, and I have others that make me feel energetic. It’s definitely part of my daily routine.

I hate perfume. Makes me gag. I don’t think it smells good, it all smells gross. And to top it off, I have asthma, so the thick perfume in the air can cause an asthma attack.

I have recently worn obsession , light blue , one.
Dolce and gabbana and Calvin Klein I think they are.

I don’t wear perfume often because it’s expensive.

I can’t afford a new bottle and I’m pretty much all out.

I also worry if they test on animals which i don’t support.
