Pretty rad news.
McCartney is my favorite Beatle I own his old album, Venus and Mars.

I’m the biggest Beatles and Wings fan but Paul McCartney hasn’t had a hit in many years. You never hear any song by him past 1990 played on mainstream radio. I still like him of course and I really want him to make great music but he kind of lost the “touch” to make hit songs. He’s very prolific and I think he has had some success in musical theater. That said, people will still pay to see him play the oldies. And he still has his charm and a great sense of humor and he’s very likable; all the traits that all four Beatles had that helped make them so popular.

I saw Paul in concert back in New Orleans in 2003/4…good concert. Young band. Old Paul. Did all the beatles songs which was good. My ex wife introduced me to the beatles and a lot of 60’s/70’s music I never would have known.
I’m not that excited about old Paul. Would be nice to see some younger band get the acclaim. Paul’s fans are still there and will buy it. Guaranteed income stream but he probably needs that with his divorces!
