Two all-american twins and Chrystal Meth

My late ex-brother-in-law and his twin brother. They had a lot going for them. They had great jobs, they were good looking, lots of friends, lived in an affluent city which they used as their own personal playground with their friends.

My ex-brother-in-law was happily married to my sister for about 12 years. He had the material possessions. Clean cut, in good physical shape. But he got hooked on meth and after my sister divorced him (for other reasons, not the drugs) he went downhill. Then he had a stroke after combining meth with alcohol and pills. He ended up in Intensive care and he could not talk or move. He got out of there into a hostel or something. But the poor soul died.

I went to his funeral last year. His family and friends were there. His twin was there and he was obviously high and in terrible shape and all 30 people who attended knew it. He never took off his sunglasses and his voice was a breaking croak when he delivered the eulogy. Just terrible. I never knew my ex-brother-in-laws brother well at all. I actually worked for him for a week years ago in construction.

But my sister told me about three weeks ago that he died from drugs too recently. So much wasted potential. Such a waste, they threw away their lives for drugs.
Watch out for those drugs people They’ll get you every time.

My mother was a heroin addict. A big-time, major heroin addict. She quit in about 1979 and was on methadone from then until her death in 1991 at 46. She did so much damage to her body that drug use killed her even though she quit. Drugs are bad, bad news. I miss her everyday. She would be 73 had she lived. Matter of fact, she would be 73 today

Sorry to hear about those guys. Important story to share. Thanks.
