Can Abilify cause twitching in around the eyes? Sometimes I get a twitch in one eye (it can be the left or right, depending on the day), and I don’t know if it’s the AP or not…Maybe I just slept funny. Or it could be from stress. I’m worried though.

It is something to mention to your doctor. It can be caused by APs, but also just by stress or by other things. In the meantime, when was the last time you had some water? Electrolyte imbalances can cause muscle twitching, including in the eyes. Gatorade might help

I’ll talk to my doctor about it. If he ever makes another appointment. His health was very bad.
I just had another cup of green tea. 
Green tea might make the problem worse, because of the caffeine.
Does your doc have a messaging option? Asking the question through that might be easier
I would have to book a video appointment by making a phone call, and get put on hold forever. He’s supposed to give me another appointment in Jan 2024. Maybe I’ll switch over to herbal tea, but I’ve already had two cups of green tea, and some 95% dark chocolate that’s bound to have some caffeine in it too. Oops…

When I was on 900 mg qutiapine I had the twitch.
Now on 700 mg I’ve got it no more.

I’ve had twitches around the eyes too when I was on it, honestly it didn’t even cross my mind to link the two together until now. That blasted drug was giving me akathisias and making me emotionally unstable, small sporadic twitches around the eyes felt so inconsequential and unrelated that I just moved along as though they weren’t even happening for the most part.

I belive its the antipsychotics I have twitches in my eyes ,face and legs it hasnt happened in awhile though

I’ve been getting the twitch regularly for years now. It could be tiredness, stress who knows but it happens to me frequently.

A doctor once told me that gently massaging the twitching muscle can help.

I also get twitching in the eyes, alternating between eyes every other day. I haven’t been on any antipsychotics in over 2 months so I take it as being stressed. I can blame positive symptoms for that
