When I say we I mean humanity at large but I guess it applies even more so to people like us. Being dependent on meds makes us particularly vulnerable if ■■■■ hits the fan. It just seems like so many problems are converging at once. War, AI, with climate change the weather has been insane. It’s just so much. It seems like the next decade or so are going to be humanity’s right of passage. The years that determine weather we reach the stars or hit dirt. I read a principle of quantum mechanics that says the universe only renders when you look at it. So I guess there’s also a possibility that all this is infinitely stranger then we can perceive and how this ends might some kind of spiritual sci-fi spectacle. Or maybe the believers are right. What do you think? Do you think we’ll all still be posting on here, or whatever this place becomes in 20 years?

IDk, during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars my life pretty much went on as usual. Even after 9-11 the only big changes was at the airports and if you followed the news you heard a lot about it but how did it really affect your life? Bad stuff happens in the world and life goes on. The weird weather is a big issue but I’m more worried about rising gas and grocery prices. Hopefully, Trump won’t touch Social Security though he would if he could; it’s too popular a program for him to abolish it. Yeah, my immediate problem is money. I’ve been alive 64 years and theres been millions of crisis but now I’m sitting on my bed eating a pink salmon sandwich. All these crisis’s led to me sitting on the edge of my bed eating a fish sandwich.
Median age of death is 40. I’m 56 pushing 57, and now I have other ailments showing up to the party. I’m doing okay for now and if I punch out it’s mostly on my own terms. That’s a win.
Yeah ive been thinking about this stuff a bit too much as well. But there isnt really all that much i can do except take care of myself and my gf and try to enjoy life for now.
Im also thinking of spending less time consuming news updates from around the world. And go outside and enjoy nature more.
That is my go-to strategy and has been ever since the Orange Moron was crowned down south this past January.

Feeling hopeless and apathy and negative and so forth is horrible stuff so wonderful if we can try and be positive n optimistic and think with faith of better things to come for us .
