I was having a bad day. Only got about 4 hours sleep and was really restless in the daytime. Took 500mg tryptophan and calmed down after 1-2 hours.
Feeling much better now as I soon will go to bed and hopefully top yesterdays sleep.

Careful now. Isn’t 5-Htp like Tryptophan? It’s not good with certain medications, taking anti-depressants into consideration.
Yes, it’s a precursor to 5-htp. Tryptophan is also found in food though so I don’t know if it’s really dangerous to anyone, but maybe a good idea to avoid it as a precaution if taking anti-depressants since it possibly can lead to serotonin syndrome.
