I recently ordered CBD oil from a Canadian website and I’ll be trying it tonight and for the next couple of days. I have about 1000mg of the stuff and I’m going to take 200mg every night for 5 days. I’ll report tomorrow to see how it goes.
Good luck! Make sure to report back…
I wanted to try that to so I rushed getting some and it turned out to be hemp oil. I kind of got tricked. Can’t wait to hear results.
I just checked out a site selling edibles as well. Really want to give it a try
Is it also for negative symptoms?
It’s been 2 nights that I’ve taken 200mg and it’s nothing special really. It would be a good sleeping aid if anything. I think a much higher dose might actually act like an anti psychotics but it’s so damn expensive.
Is it from hemp? The cbd?
@firemonkey had a thread with cbd as an adjunct therapy to aps and it showed that there was slight improvement of cognition and slight improvement in positive symptoms, but they were taking 1000mg a day.
We have some 900mg pastilles available to us in the UK, and you get 60 sweets for £65, so around £1 a pill. I would prefer to take a cbd sweet as it is a quantified amoount, coompared to haphazard drops under a tongue, if that is what you do?
CBD whhether extracted from a cannabis plant or hemp is chemically the same. The measurement of THC found in a cannabis plant is higher, but once the tTHC is removed and the CBD is also extracted, it leaves negligiblle amounts of thc, thus what difference does it make if the cbd comes from hemp or a cannabis plant? After all hemp is a cannabis plant?
CBD is CBD, where you find neglible amounts of THC in it, otherwise in the UK it is illlegal and cannot be sold, and probably elsewhere too.
Can you tell me if there is a difference between cannabis cbd and hemp cbd? I can’t find any difference in its chemical compound, unless I am missing something?
I found this quote to clarify a difference in hemp cbd and cannabis CBD:
“Others have argued that CBD is most effective when it interacts with other cannabinoids and terpenes found in cannabis plants. And sativa and indica plants could provide a more complex range of these chemicals. For that reason, some people prefer using CBD that comes from whole plant sativa or indica.”

But essentially hemp (ruderalis) cbd just needs more product to prduce the same amount of cbd as a normal cannabis plant does.
I wonder how strong the argument is for the terpenes found in cannabis cbd in effectiveness, against the hemp version?
the difference between medicinal RX Mari… and CBD witouth THC is confusing for me too
