So…the company I bought from promised to ship me out free saddlebags for my Ebike when I completed purchase. Well they kept their word except that the saddlebags they shipped have nowhere to mount on my bike. We looked and looked and tried and tried to find somewhere to mount them but to no avail.
Finally I came inside and looked up a youtube video on my models bags and found that they shipped the wrong thing. I need ones that connect together and are clamped down by the seat when you open and close it.
I sent an email to the company, but I’m expecting they will stiff me on the right bags because they are 100 dollars more on their website than the ones they shipped me and I got them for free.
It may be possible to modify them in some way. I dunno. I dont really know that much about leatherworking/stitching and the like. Maybe we can try though. It might look like a frankensteinian creation if I try to do it on my own. lol.
Maybe I can get someone with some greater leather crafting/stitching ability to help me though.
You can easily just connect something to the straps and clamp that something under the seat. You can rig those bags up easy. Get over the grift, those are sweet bags.
Whatever dude. Its not petty to want what you were promised and that fits with the bike you paid for. I dished out 2800 for that bike and its totally reasonable expect what I was promised.
