ÂŁ944 in the UK ÂŁ483 of which is rent, but I need to update my budget and spending plans now my extra money is going to come in!
this is a fix expense? It is not a lot… according to my calculations I have like 2K expense per month fixed. Without any spent for pleasure
Rent: $1045
Utility: $140
Phone: $35
Internet: $100
Groceries: $350
Meds: $3.60
Total: $1673.60
Yeah mine is similar…
So I am still calculating rent like 500$ so it is usually for a good apartment around 750
I get things like medications and dr’s appointments for free!
I also don’t smoke and have allowed some leisure money and budgeted to get a takeaway every 1-2 months!
I used the Citizens Advice Bureau to work out my budget, but as it’s a UK site you can’t use CAD$!
Business Fees: 400
Internet: 90
Groceries and medication: 500 (maybe this is way too much)
Electricity hopefully included
Rent: 500-800
Beauty salon: 360
iTunes: 10
Public Transportation: 120
Phone: 100
It is more than 2K
I have a disability (concessionary) bus pass as I’ve been told I’m not allowed to drive, but I might reapply and take lessons!
Could you do some of your own Beauty regime at home and use getting someone else to do it as a special treat?
$360 at the salon??!!

yeah it will be finished in a year I am doing permanent hair removal
it is a must necessity.
Oh, that makes way more sense. I was imagining hundreds of dollars a month in cut/color/style.
Last month, between my husband going out for lunch almost every day and all of us going out for dinner occasionally, we spent like $350 just on restaurants. So we decided to go an entire month without going out to eat at all.
I also tend to spend a decent chunk on Amazon. Though it’s usually stuff we need, but still.
For instance, I just spent $16 on a nice glass container to store my homemade ice cream in because I don’t like plastic. But I didn’t really “need” a nice container. I could have gotten a plastic one for like $5.
I do not even like fast junk food. I just do not have energy to cook on most days. We eat out a lot. If it were up to me, I’d eat out max once a month at a nice fancy place instead of eating crap
Totally agree. I never ate fast food at all until I met my husband. Never had soda either. He has awful eating habits and some of it had rubbed off on me. But I’m trying to get better about it.
I’m glad that your taking the effort to see what you have going in and out!
Some people just put everything on the card and take payday loans and online/catalogue credit.
Just a suggestion have you seen if you can change your contract / renew your phone/internet subscriptions on cheaper tariffs? My internet comes up for renewal in Oct!
Yeah I always do my expenses… I have never ever paid interest on my credit
But I have help from the mr.
I am accustomed on having the nice things… iPhone 7… fast internet… pretty stationery… branded shoes…
Italian purses…
I save too but tend to travel every time I save. So it never gets accumulated large amounts. And just recently we bought an apartment and I furnished the whole apartment almost by myself.
I am so unstable.
I don’t want to cry the rest of the day,
So I won’t actually try to breakdown my budget,
But I can ballpark it around, $5500?
Not including all the dumb, impulsive Amazon buys.
Crap.

My brother who’s in the try’s to save a little each month to build a house. (waiting on planning permission)
He also likes to have a few months money saved should anything happen that insurances won’t cover.
I think he can live for 3 months comfortably if anything unexpected happens, such as his windscreen cracking or unexpected vets bills!
The first step is acknowledging you have a problem.
Then writing the problem down so you can see it & getting help if it’s too overwhelming.
