only reason being is that I feel really restless. I go from trying to read on the internet to laying down on the floor and can’t switch my brain off that everybody is out to get me. I was thinking about purchasing some alcohol but I know that isn’t good and I’ve not had a drink for 6 weeks, with the alcohol I know if I have a drink I will continue drinking and drinking, It is too draining thinking and thinking all the time. I feel calmer and less restless.
Do you drink coffee? Maybe you should switch to tea instead since it has L-Theanine in it which helps people to relax.
Haven’t had caffeine since this morning
Ok. I notice I seem to get racing thoughts and I think coffee probably makes it worse so I’m going to switch to green tea. Maybe you can ask your pdoc for something to help you out more.
That’s good that you took your meds as prescribed! Now next step is to tell your psychiatrist about all what happened, like the paranoia and fear, delusions etc
Maybe ask for Haldol injection, it will be much easier than taking pills for you.
I’m already on Invega injection
Got Blutooth headphones? Bung them on, and if your craving a beer - find some fizzy in your local shop, be it cherryade or whatever. The beer as you know - will make your symptoms worse. Make sure you got boiled sweets as well - your not craving the alcohol - your simply missing the sugar rush.
I brought some Dr Pepper, a cold glass and the sharp fizz is nice against the throat.
I do feel much calmer after taking that Haldol. How do I put that into words and email my community nurse. I’m not getting that much intrusive thoughts.
