I’m supposed to go to the City Hall for an assessment for disability allowance next week, and I’m literally too scared to go, even though it will benefit me in the long run.
I can’t face the general public in case they start saying things, or I hallucinate.
Joy!
Get some people to go with you?

Hmm not a bad idea, suppose I’ll ask my mum!

I’m always too scared to leave home.
I only leave when I NEED to: food, laundry, bank, etc.

I can relate. It was different before I took Invega. Now I usually don’t go out much except for a cigarette. I’m afraid of crowded places. Hopefully that will change with Abilify.

Yes, definitely ask your mom. If she is willing to go with you and hold your hand that would make it so much easier for you. I get very afraid too, sometimes. I am mostly afraid of public speaking or being the ‘target’ of attention, but I also get afraid just going places sometimes. Anxiety and fear is harder than some realize. I wish you the very best in getting through your experience.
