Tomorrow I head out on a plane

bound for Banbury, England. Two hours south of London, I believe. I’m attending a piano intensive retreat. Im all packed and ready. I just need to do my yoga tonight.

I’m really excited. A bit nervous too I must admit because I’m going alone.

I’m happy for you. Try relaxation techniques throughout the day tomorrow including before you leave home to help you be in a better state of mind.

I’m trying to do that myself when I need to leave the house. I still get anxious but it’s less intense

Thanks @LittleMissSlothy.

I encourage you! I’ve been at it for 16 years now and its been never a dull moment. Ie., its always been quite challenging.

And I started at age 46 so, you you can never be too old either.

@ZmaGal , I believe in slow, deep breathing for anxiety. Very hard to do while in the throes of the moment, but it does seem to take the edge off a bit.
