So, today’s a bad day… I drove 2 hrs by myself to the “big town” and got my car seen to and had a pdoc appt. As day continued the voices got louder, my anxiety got bad qnd everything just went to hell.
Saw pdoc and she wouldn’t let me drive so I had yo call my husband to drive 2 hours (after work) to come get me and his Dad is coming with to drive my car back. I do not get along woth my father in law.
Funny…pdoc wanted me to go to ED and get admitted. Don’t understand why. I am still rational. So muxh so that I found it funny she couldn’t admit me without a trip to tthe ED?
She upped my Abilify to max dose of 30mg. Then said we might try another med but she wants to switch me to a gen 1 med? Talked about Rispiradone, Prolixin and Haldol…i’vve been on rispiridone before amd developed facial ticks and loss of bladder control. Haven’t tried the other ones but seems odd direction to take.
Anyyhow, still waiting on my husband. She just came to check up on me before she goes home. I’ve taken the additional 5mg of Abilify and two vistarils…I am calmer but I still feel disconnected…
