Exactly 1 year ago today I kicked my addiction to Ativan. I was using heavily every day and it got to the point that I sought after help. Now I am 1 year clean. Yay me

Awesome, I’ve been off clonazepam for a little over a year now. Coming off benzos is a challenge, congrats!
What dosage were you on? I was only on 0.5mg of clonazepam but I still had to do a long taper and had withdrawals.

I was at the point that I was taking 3-6mg a day depending on how much I could get my hands on

I was hooked on Ativan too I was taking way more than 3 mg they prescribed and had a seizure after they wouldn’t refill it. I never bought it off the street though. It was like a few months maybe 5 or 6 month addiction I don’t remember. For some reason like a couple years later my doctor prescribed klonopin and I was on it for a year and then tapered off it slowly myself told my doctor and he canceled the prescription. Benzodiazepines are not very healthy and right now I’m 3 days off cigarettes and trying to slow down on booze!
But yea congrats I’m happy for you!
