Blah. Look through a viewfinder. More fun with fewer headaches.

Twitter x is always raving about mathematics. I’m slowly considering it as a study topic

I was gonna ask you if you’d consider it, because physics can’t be appreciated without it

I really would like to but I’m scared I can’t understand it

I probably might :yum:

You absolutely should. Don’t see it as not possible. Honestly

Thankyou for the encouragement. How is your course going btw?

It’s going very well, I’m not falling behind. I’m enjoying the challenge (it’s more challenging than last year) and in general I just feel more confident about it. Thankfully

I’m glad to hear you aren’t falling behind that is actually a huge achievement

Geometry was my mathematical Achilles heel. I was beyond bad at it. I don’t think my poor drawing ability helped. As for biology, chemistry, and physics- a mix of lack of natural ability and not liking the subjects(very likely correlated) had me making little effort at them. I took no science subjects for O levels.

I used to love Mathematics, but when I think about Mathematical problems now, it stirs up my symptoms, so I keep away. I use high school level Mathematics for stock trading purposes, though.

I admire anyone here who goes to college/university. I’ve never been able to get myself into a head space psychologically where I could pursue further education. The only exception being a brief attempt at a history A level correspondence course 6 months or so after my 1st inpatient stay. It’s an area where I self stigmatise a lot. Regard myself as cowardly and weak for failing to get past the bullying related trauma…

Hence why I’m teaching myself math. I want a deeper understanding of physics.
