Something appeared to be ablaze back there but i couldn’t see behind the wall.
I walked to the side to see around the tree to get a better look. Maybe they were burning something back there.
A shadowy figure climbed onto the wall and i heard sounds in the tree.
While the fear swelled thinking it was them the light went out and all became quite again.
