I’m fixated on the idea of starting my own business. It’s probably cos I don’t want to be in the situation I am in now but still…
There are worse things to be fixated on. Starting your own business sounds like a good idea to me if you have a realistic plan.
I know the feeling, if it’s anything like me. you’re probably thinking it’ll be easy and a walk through the park for you but then when you start, your motivation will quickly fade — that’s how it is for me.
you definitely can, and definitely should - but only if you’re willing to stick it out for a long time.
If you’re going to be sessed about something you might
as well be ob-sessed.
Just keep in mind that if you do crafts and etsy and markets and such, it can be hard to get a following. The market is just flooded with people doing it. Ive done cricut stuff and wood burning, did the market route and had several regular markets i went to, and it was hard to turn it into an actual profit making business. I spent 2 years just bleeding money. I had fun and it was awesome, but i never could rely on it as an actual money maker.
What’s your plan? Walk us through your business plan to some extent
I don’t have a plan in place. All I know is I want to craft and sell.
My first thing I want to sell is pins. I design the pins or at least take inspiration to design them and then I get them made into laple pins. See where that goes.
That sounds good can you show me some pictures of the sort of lapel pins that you’re thinking of
I can’t post here because it will link it to my shop as in reverse image search
Yeah I’m realizing that I can’t post anything I designed for jewelry either because of reverse image search
I’m just paranoid that’s all sorry.
No I feel you same
Here is a pin mock up I requested but I’m not getting this made. I found the image on canva and edited it to the way I like. You are allowed to do this without getting done for copyright. The glass where the face was intended to have glitter enamel so it looks like they’re looking at stars
It’s very cool have you heard of shapeways
