Thinking of starting a business

Unemployment is at an all time high here. Sick of being knocked back for jobs all the time but not going to give up. I make bath bombs, whipped soap and body scrubs so thinking of getting a stall at the variety store and depending on the reaction selling them online. Clutching at straws. Having no money is bum.

I really hope it works out for you. Well, I’ll buy some from you if you are selling? We have to help each other on the road. It’s difficult for people who don’t have a MH history, what about those of us who do?

Hope you succeed, I have worked for myself most of my life, It is a wild roller coaster ride. It beats unemployment though. When things are good I have to save and fix equipment, when bad which is going on now, it’s work and home no treats. The economy here is a mess and combined with me getting ill for a variety of reasons, you get knocked back again and will spend a couple of years correcting it. But the business I’m in now has got me through 20 years so I guess I should be happy with that. Need any help feel free to message me, marketing yourself and product is the hardest thing to do.

Thanks so much everyone! You’re all so lovely :two_hearts:

I will probably message you in a few weeks once I’ve got a brand idea running, if your offer still stands by then! Thanks so much

Hey! I’ve been thinking either etsy or tictail for an online store, do you like etsy? Tictail don’t charge transaction fees but if etsy’s are reasonable then it might be a better platform with so much traffic

Most markets are saturated with people having the same products or goals and yes their are those that will do whatever it takes to stop you from being successful. That being said fee’s will kill a business, I would try out free ad’s where ever you can find them, Fee’s are okay if you only pay on a sale not for the listing. It will take some digging to find as many as you can.

yes I totally recommend it. It has it’s own market and huge potential. =^o^=
The transaction fees are not a lot but it’s worth it.

Hi doojay. Have you started your own business lately?
