Why do we have paranoid thoughts?

Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not watching…

I have some conspiracies in my head and sometimes i think they are true

Based on what I have read, it must be due to some disfunctional part of the brain and dopamine.

Users of dopamine releasing drugs often get paranoid as well.

Because I’ve been hurt so much…I have to set boundaries or else suffer from fear of abandonment. I’ve been hurt so much that I’m paranoid about “real” relationships. It’s ■■■■■■■ hard questioning everything all the time :cold_sweat:

I am also suspicious about almost everything

I think it’s because everything can be seen as

open-ended

reality is a mix of truth and falsehood.

I guess it is because our brain is dysfunctional. Thankfully my paranoia has really reduced since i started taking Clozaril.

We have paranoid thoughts because I don’t know why. Because we are schizophrenic?

We have trust issues that are based on what our reality was. But we’ve buried the reason so our fears come to us in a paranoid way not necessarily making sense.
