Doesn’t surprise me. Increased emotional intelligence would be an evolutionary survival mechanism, making them more respondent to the needs of their offspring when they are young.

Men and women are not the same in every category.

I am not surprised by the fact women have higher emotional intelligence than men. Hands down to women whose perception of emotion is better than men’s perception.
