Thinking of smoking weed in January

I’ll think it over, it’s starting to sound like a bad idea.

Weed has clinically been proven to be very bad for those with psychotic disorders or those who may be at risk for developing them. Apparently it can send you straight into an episode or elevate your paranoia. People who are at risk for psychosis but hadn’t developed it and may never have developed it have experienced their first episode after marijuana and end up never being well again.

Would not recommend X(

Yea it’s silly to smoke weed if your mentally ill. I wouldn’t have smoked at all in college had I know what the outcome was gonna be. I’m still trying to forgive myself for that. Why would you want to risk losing your mind again for a little bit of legal pot ?

here is a community for you to talk about weed in.

i personally think weed should not be encouraged in any sense on a site where 99% of the individuals experience/d hallucinations/delusions.

Some people with sz can tolerate weed. I am one of them. But it’s probably still a very bad idea to start using it even if you know you can tolerate it. The risk of addiction is real and the long-term effects can be pretty bad. I have struggled with weed addiction for many years. It’s not worth risking addiction just so you can have some fun.

Part of me likes the challenge. I got my mind back almost completely. I want to see if I can get it back again and maybe eventually not need medication anymore. Maybe I should just be glad I have it back at all.
